His project portfolio spans private superyachts, expedition vessels, ferries, offshore platforms, and some of the world's largest and most celebrated cruise ships — including the Queen Mary 2, Harmony of the Seas, and the Ritz-Carlton cruise yacht Evrima.
Over 26 years at Tillberg Design of Sweden, Daniel progressed from designer to Yacht Director and Partner, beeing deeply involved in leading a studio of up to 127 people. He has guided projects from the earliest concept sketches through master planning, technical specification, yard selection and collaboration, detail design and on-site supervision until final delivery — representing owners at every step of the process.
Today, Daniel works independently as a senior advisor to private clients, investors, and owner teams. He brings a rare combination of creative vision and hands-on industry knowledge to each engagement — whether that means evaluating a yard, building an owner's team from scratch, or steering a complex new build from brief to delivery. He is also a regular speaker and commentator at international maritime and yacht industry events.
